At Bolder Foods, we believe real food is made with intention — and that the way something is made matters just as much as what’s in it.

Our company was built on two bold beginnings. The Honest Stand started in 2014 when Alex Carone and Jeremy Day began cooking small-batch, plant-based sauces in their Denver kitchen — sparked by Alex’s journey with celiac disease and a dairy intolerance. What began as comfort food without compromise quickly grew into a line of clean-label dips, soups, and sauces that brought bold flavor to every table.

Boulder Organic Foods was founded in 2006, driven by the belief that fresh, organic soup should be as nourishing as a homemade meal. Under Greg Powers’ leadership, it grew from a local Colorado staple to a nationally distributed brand known for its integrity, flavor, and commitment to real, clean ingredients.

Today, we’ve joined forces as Bolder Foods, with Alex and Jeremy as Co-CEOs and Greg as Chief Commercial Officer. Together, we’re building something new: a food company that cooks like you cook — at a scale that’s never been done before.

We cut vibrant vegetables. We simmer in kettles. We taste every batch.
And we do it not just for our own brands, but as a certified organic, gluten-free, GFSI-audited manufacturing partner for others who care as much as we do.
